Recipe : Stir fried macaroni with minced beef and cili padi

There are days when you feel so lazy to cook, but at the same time you need something fulfilling to satisfy your hunger.

On those kinds of days, this would be one of the things that I would whip up.

The ingredients may vary, depending on whatever I have in the kitchen at the time being. As long as I have “cili padi”, everything would be OK.

It is quick, easy to make and most importantly it leaves my tummy full and satisfied until the next meal.

Stir fried macaroni with minced beef and cili padi

Ingredients:
Cooked macaroni
Onions (diced)
Garlic (chopped)
Minced beef
Broccoli florets (chopped)
Tomatoes (chopped)
Cili padi (chopped)
Light soy sauce – the amount depends on how flavourful you want it to be
Oyster sauce – the amount depends on how flavourful you want it to be

Method:
1) Heat oil and toss in the onions, garlic and cili padi. Sautee until cooked and fragrant.
2) Then, add minced beef and leave it to cook. It would be a bit watery as the beef cooks and release its juices.
3) Add broccoli and cook for 1-2 minutes.
4) Add soy sauce and oyster sauce. Continue to cook for another few minutes.
5) Add tomatoes and stir.
6) Lastly, add in the macaroni and season with salt and pepper. I usually don’t put anymore salt as the soy sauce and oyster sauce are already salty. Depends on you.
