My poor hubby and his (kind of) OCD wife. LOL.

I guess most husbands who has a wife with a mild case of OCD (like me) will master this kind of art.

I was back from work the other day, and with the Big Bad Wolf sale going on, hubby and I bought quite a collection of books; coffee table books are one of them.

One day when I was back from work (I have a nasty habit of "inspecting" the house) I noticed the stack of book that i have constructed neatly as part of the house decor has increased in height. I came upon it and noticed that the coffee table books are there.

" table books doesn't belong here la Bi"

Silence. TV blaring.

"Ishhh coffee table books belongs at the living area, on the coffee tables blablabla......", I went on while busily rearranging the books.

"Bi, I'll put them here OK?" I was still making comments, while shuffling through the living area.

At that point of time I remember quite well that hubby was on that couch in front of the TV. He was only talking to me a moment ago.

I was irritated.

So I went to him.

"Are you even listening to me?"

Hubby looked up at me, a really annoying sweet smile on his face. Oblivious, in fact. Clearly his mind was on the TV. Clearly, he zoned out.

"Oh were you talking to me? All I heard was some kind of noise coming from you", and with that he made a sound close to a fly buzzing.

"Ugghhhhhhh.....", and I walked away.

The art of zoning out, I'd call that.

Congratulations hubby. If marriage is The Force then your Obi-Wan-Kenobi will be so proud of you. Heh :P

Hane, in that case I should learn to be more like you! Haha. Sometimes I blame myself, obsessing over small things. LOL.

Huhu totally get you kak millie!
Hahaha! Me too! My husband just warns little Haraz "Oh no, Mama's getting obsessive again." then ignores what ever else I say. LOL

It's just something that happens involuntarily, I really cannot control it.
